This divine hill has been a place of worship for over 500 years. The oldest temple, Thimmaraya Swami Temple, is more than 300 years old and continues to be a center of strong faith. At the base, you’ll find the Panjamuga Anjaneyar Temple, and near the entry, the Lalithambigai Swami Temple. Above all these, in 2017, the Malaysia Murugan Temple was built — featuring a majestic 21-foot golden idol of Lord Murugan modeled after the famous statue in Malaysia. At the summit of the hill stands a Shiva Lingam, discovered many years ago.

With 12A, 80G, and CSR-1 certifications, the Trust is eligible to receive donations, both domestic and international. It actively supports school children with supplies, assists old age homes, conducts spiritual yatras, provides marriage assistance, and works on temple renovation projects including steps, flooring, girivalam road, and sanitation facilities.

The Trust was inspired by the prayer and vision of Mr. Venkatachalam Chinnamunisamy, who built the temple after witnessing his prayer come true. The Trust was formally registered in 2024 and is currently led by:

  • Founder: Mr. Venkatachalam Chinnamunisamy

  • Secretary: Mr. Sundharamoorthi

  • Treasurer: Mr. Krishnan Venkatasami

The Trust welcomes online donations through UPI, bank transfers, and QR codes. Volunteers across the world can also participate digitally — helping with website support, social media, fundraising, and more.

“Where devotion meets action – in service to Murugan and humanity.”

TREASURER
Mr. KRISHNAN VENKATASAMI

A man of strong faith and simple beginnings,
Mr. Venkatachalam’s devotion to Lord Murugan led to the creation of the Malaysia Murugan Temple atop Elumichangiri. His belief was born out of a personal prayer that was fulfilled, leading him to dedicate his life and efforts toward building this shrine. With no formal legacy or family tradition in temple building, he believes Murugan belongs to everyone and his service is open to all.

Mr. Sundharamoorthi serves as the administrative head of the Trust, coordinating temple activities, annadhanam programs, and event management. With a deep connection to the local community, he ensures that daily operations run smoothly and that all rituals and charitable works are carried out with respect and precision.

Mr. Krishnan manages the financial arm of the Trust. He ensures all donations are properly recorded and utilized transparently for the trust's projects – including temple restoration, annadhanam, education, and girivalam path construction. He plays a key role in financial planning, reporting, and ensuring donor trust.
