The day began with Ganapathi Homam and a special Vel Pooja, followed by a grand abhishekam to the 21-ft golden Malaysia Murugan idol. Chants of “Vel Vel, Vetri Vel” echoed through the hills as kavadi bearers, paal kudam devotees, and families walked barefoot to the temple, offering their pain, joy, and gratitude to Lord Murugan.

Throughout the day, Annadhanam was provided to over 2,000 devotees in three sessions. The event was organized with love by the Trust volunteers, who ensured that every devotee received food, comfort, and spiritual warmth.

The Girivalam around the hill during the evening was a spiritual sight — hundreds of lamps were lit, and the sky shimmered as the mountain echoed with devotional hymns.
