Annadhanam Service

Annadhanam — the offering of food — is one of the most sacred forms of charity in Hinduism. At Tamil Kadavul Malaysia Murugan Charitable Trust, we believe that feeding people is equal to feeding God. Every Tuesday, we organize full-day annadhanam at the temple hill. From breakfast to dinner, all devotees and visitors are served with love, regardless of their background. This act of compassion strengthens community bonds and blesses both giver and receiver.

Special annadhanam drives are also held during major Murugan festivals like Vaikasi Visagam, Aadi 18, Aadi Krithigai, Thaipusam, Panguni Uthiram, and Kanda Sashti. Hundreds of devotees partake in these meals. We encourage individuals to sponsor annadhanam on their birthdays, anniversaries, or in memory of loved ones. This allows people to turn their personal milestones into moments of spiritual service.

Our kitchen is clean, well-managed, and staffed by volunteers who treat the service with utmost devotion. Beyond the temple, we also distribute food to nearby old-age homes and orphanages, especially during special events. The Trust hopes to expand this service by creating a dedicated annadhanam hall in the future. To sponsor a meal is to nourish a soul — join us in this divine cause.
