This year’s festivities at Tamil Kadavul Malaysia Murugan Temple began at sunrise with Ganapathi Homam and Vel Poojai, followed by traditional Abhishekam and Alangaram to the majestic 21-ft golden Murugan. Devotees carried kavadi, pierced vel, walked barefoot up the hill, and chanted “Vel Vel, Vetri Vel” in complete devotion.

Steps of Faith
The Girivalam (circumambulation) around the hill, which has been a centuries-old practice here, witnessed record participation this year under the full moonlight. The night was filled with spiritual bhajans, annadhanam served for over 2,000 devotees, and the divine presence of Lord Murugan felt stronger than ever.
Our volunteers and trust members managed every part of the event with love and discipline. Special thanks to all donors and well-wishers who made this day spiritually powerful and socially impactful.
Thaipusam 2024 was not just a festival – it was an experience of light, faith, and Murugan’s grace.
